Nitrogen is essential to the growth of a plant while it is in its vegetative state. Nitrogen also acts as a building block for the proteins in a plant. This helps your plant to stay strong. Phosphorus ensures that your plant will grow healthy, huge buds. Potassium promotes osmoregulation in a plant. It basically regulates water and salt concentrations in a plant. Calcium keeps the structure of the cell walls in a plant together. Your plant needs Calcium to function and prosper. Magnesium is needed to generate glucose from photosynthesis. Last but certainly not least Sulfur is nessecary because it plays an extremely important role in water management in both the plant and the soil the plant is in.
